Good lighting isn’t decorative. It’s structural.

A Chicago architectural showroom carrying lighting chosen for homes where the details matter — from makers with something to say about how a room is lit. One of them you can find nowhere else in the United States.

Living room with a fireplace, beige mantel, and antler chandelier. Two beige armchairs and a white sofa with black and white pillows. Coffee table with flowers, candlesticks, and books. Windows with curtains and decorative items on the mantel.

The only place in America to buy David Hunt Lighting.

David Hunt is a British lighting studio whose pieces are made to be looked at, not just looked through. Sculptural, hand-finished in the UK, and designed with a point of view that most American lighting doesn't attempt. their work sits at the edge of lighting and object-making.

They are not sold through US online retailers. Heritage Home Supply is the sole US retailer of David Hunt Lighting. We carry a selection in our Chicago showroom and can source any piece in their full collection.

Pendants

The form you'll notice first. David Hunt pendants range from the architectural to the sculptural — hand-finished shades in leather, brass, and painted metal. Correct for kitchens, stairwells, and anywhere a pendant is the room's deciding moment.

A modern interior living room with a beige sofa, red striped pillow, dark textured wall, gold and glass chandelier hanging from ceiling, and a black side table with a gold spiked decorative object and a brown pot with green plants.

Chandeliers

Table with a green cloth holding a decorative lamp shaped like a bunch of lemons and a fruit bowl containing lemons, in front of a wall with colorful patterned tiles.

Not statement pieces for statement's sake. David Hunt chandeliers are designed with proportion in mind — made to read as furniture, not spectacle. Worth seeing in person before you decide on scale.

Table & Floor Lamps

The quieter end of the collection, which is often the harder problem to solve. David Hunt table and floor lamps bring the same finish quality as their architectural pieces — correct for reading corners, bedside, and rooms that need warmth without overhead light.

A wall-mounted sconce with three beige fabric lampshades is illuminated and mounted on a wallpaper decorated with various woodland animals and trees, including deer, rabbits, and bears, in a nature-themed pattern.

Sconces

British lighting engineering at its most considered. The sconce collection is where craft detail is most visible — finish choices, arm profiles, shade proportions. Worth handling if you're specifying a hallway or bedroom.

Living room with floral wallpaper, white curtains, a white ornate fireplace, and a large mirror above it. A blue sofa, a round wooden coffee table with books and a flower arrangement, and a chandelier hang from the ceiling.

Hudson Valley

A broad, well-built American line with enough range to spec an entire home from understated task lighting to statement pendants. Strong for whole-home projects where you need consistency across rooms and price points without sacrificing quality.

Kitchen window with white blinds, hanging light fixture, and a sink with a faucet, soap dispenser, and plants nearby.

Schoolhouse

Made in Portland, Oregon. Clean forms, honest materials, American manufacturing. Schoolhouse does the detail moments well — the kitchen pendant, the workroom sconce, the reading lamp that doesn't compete with the room. Worth considering anywhere you want the fixture to disappear into the work rather than announce itself.

We source. We spec. We don't just sell.

Whether you're renovating a single room or specifying an entire project, we can help you find the right fixture — not just what's on the floor. We work with homeowners, interior designers, and contractors across Chicago's North Side. If you've seen something and can't track it down, or you're not sure what's correct for your ceiling height, your wiring, or your existing palette, that's worth a conversation.

For designers and trade clients, our Trade Lab program gives you access to exclusive lines, private appointments, and a genuine sourcing partner — not just a discount.

Come in. We don't take that lightly.
